  • Principal Backend Engineer

    We are seeking a superstar backend engineer to help us lead this transformation of an entire Industry.

    You Will:

    • Have the freedom to solve problems in ways we haven’t thought of yet – we’re good with that
    • Utilize your AWS experience – we are heavy on AWS (Redshift, EMR, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
    • Configure, manage, and optimize databases (Mongo, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
    • Develop with multiple languages+technologies (Java, JavaScript, Node.js, etc.)
    • Contribute to our various APIs and develop new ones
    • Iterate upon an ETL process handling terabytes of data (trillions of records)
    • Architect and engineer data solutions from scratch

  • Enterprise Sales Executive

    We are seeking an enthusiastic hunter sales executive to join the sales team.

    You Will Need:

    • 10+ years in SaaS, preferably selling within CPG and/or Analytics.
    • Prior success exceeding 2M+ quotas; individual wins such as President’s Club or key logo achievement.
    • Hunter mentality, willingness to prospect and deliver key category logos through existing relationships.
    • Experience managing multi-layered enterprise cycles; ability to run entire sales cycles from lead to signature process.
    • Process and efficiency oriented; wired to leverage strategic sales tools such as account plans, close plans, etc.
    • Strategic visionary thinker with the ability to execute on tactical day to day sales build.
    • Passion for technology and team collaboration.
    • Willing to travel 25%

  • Channel Account Executive

    As a Shelvspace Channel Account Executive, it’s all about strategically consulting with your prospects to help them find better ways to better execute at the retail shelf and increase their sales. We are groundbreaking for an industry that still operates mostly on paper and fragmented systems, so our sale is consultative at its core.

    You will be working with some of the most exciting and innovate brands in the consumer purchased goods (CPG) space.

    In order to find success, every Channel Account Manager at Shelvspace becomes a facilitator of the buying process. This is accomplished by being an expert of the pains of the CPG industry and challenging your prospects norms, building trust and developing long term relationships.

    REQUIREMENTS
    In this role, you will need to:

    • Become an expert in identifying challenges that our prospective customers face, which can be solved with our web and mobile solutions.
    • Develop and manage relationships within our Mid-Market and Channel segments
    • Perform all aspects of selling professionally including: prospecting, approaching, presenting, handling objections, closing and follow-up
    • Demonstrate our product via the Web Demo and Conference selling
    • Manage complex sales-cycles and present to sales executives and C-Level executives the value and need for our solution.
    • Strategize, negotiate and help close business  
    • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement
    • Limited Travel

    EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

    • 3 to 5 years of quota carrying software or technology sales experience.
    • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
    • Experience in a startup environment, if possible
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
    • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
    • Emotional intelligence
    • A powerful work ethic
    • Tons of energy, passion, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm
    • Superior communications skills
    • Exceptional closing skills
    • Channel Sales background is a bonus.
    • CPG Industry knowledge a plus but not required
