  • Principal Backend Engineer

    We are seeking a superstar backend engineer to help us lead this transformation of an entire Industry.

    You Will:

    • Have the freedom to solve problems in ways we haven’t thought of yet – we’re good with that
    • Utilize your AWS experience – we are heavy on AWS (Redshift, EMR, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
    • Configure, manage, and optimize databases (Mongo, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
    • Develop with multiple languages+technologies (Java, JavaScript, Node.js, etc.)
    • Contribute to our various APIs and develop new ones
    • Iterate upon an ETL process handling terabytes of data (trillions of records)
    • Architect and engineer data solutions from scratch

  • Director of Channel Sales

    Job Overview

    We are seeking a driven enthusiastic hunter channel builder with an entrepreneurial heart to join the Shelvspace family. The VP of Channel Sales is responsible for growing and maintaining the existing indirect partner channel, leveraging all aspects of marketing, selling, contracting and partner management.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the end to end process of marketing, selling, contracting and partner management behaviors to build and maintain a channel. 
    • Responsible for the network and connections to accelerate our partner growth plan via data, distributor and retailer contracts.
    • Responsible for the breakdown of complex discovery while keeping partners and communities energized.
    • Responsible for closing partner deals, building 1M+ in annual revenue.
    • Develop and maintain high-level relationships with partners
    • Diligently monitor pipeline, sales in progress, activity, and new prospects using pipeline sales cycle management techniques.
    • Create and implement a strategic partner plan in conjunction with leadership


    Requirements

    • 15+ years of demonstrated experience driving and forming retail, distributor, broker supplier partnerships.
    • Strategic visionary thinker with the ability to maintain absolute focus and execute tactical day to day partner sales build.
    • Proven ability to frame and negotiate new partner agreements.
    • Adept at leveraging an established network of professional connections and trusted relationships to accelerate the partner build.
    • Business forecasting, pipeline development, and management skills are required.
    • Ability to articulate a use case of how you’ve grown a previous greenfield channel day one to present (# of partners, associated revenue, tools used to scale).
    • Proven ability to take the entire sales and partner process from start to finish including the following:
      • Discovery + Build: quickly generate trusting relationships with prospects to identify how Shelvspace value drivers match up with the current issues or problems with prospects current process/tools.
      • Comprehensive solution design based on client’s corporate goals.
      • Ability to articulate the overall vision, ROI and solution + benefit.
      • Manage redlines and overall contract negotiations to close.
    • Evidence of selling into complex and long sales cycles associated with enterprise technology products and services, preferably SaaS purchasers.
    • Experienced and effective team player with high EQ, demonstrating trusting and high-quality communication behaviors
    • Passion for SaaS technology, willingness to grow professionally and collaborate.
    • Willing to travel 25%
    • Prefer candidate to live locally in AZ

    Job Overview

    We are seeking a driven enthusiastic hunter sales executive with an entrepreneurial heart and passion for CPG Industry to join the Shelvspace family. Our sales team engages in a consultative selling approach, learns the individual needs of each customer and delivers custom solutions. We focus on creating a positive customer experience in order to build long-standing relationships. 

    The Shelvspace sales team’s focus is driving revenue, adoption and market penetration in enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate possesses a SaaS sales background that enables them to drive an engagement at the VP level. You should be a self-starter who is prepared to develop a book of business and execute against your target market; consistently deliver on revenue targets.

    Responsibilities

    • Building a book of net new business. You will be responsible for building 1M+ in annual revenue via targeted account plans, personal networking, and industry conventions.
    • Effectively qualify leads and perform needs assessment through a discovery process.
    • Create client presentations and proposals.
    • Conduct high-level conversations with C-level and VP-level Executives.
    • Utilize solution-selling and value-selling techniques to effectively guide sales process to close.
    • Work strategically with management to deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities/challenges, and provide recommended solutions.
    • Keep informed of product line, competition and industry trends that may impact client business activities
    • Responsible for individual contributions while also cultivating a healthy collaborative team resource dynamic.
    • Encouraged to team sell and make meaningful internal connections to accelerate deals to close.


    Requirements

    • 10+ years of Enterprise Sales in a technology company.
    • Experienced selling SaaS or Cloud solutions and/or ability to sell into CPG sales organization c-suite.
    • Prior success exceeding quotas; or demonstrated behaviors that show track record of high achievement
    • Hunter mentality, willingness to prospect and build the pipeline through existing relationships or networks.
    • Strength in discovery phase; consultative trusted advisor approach.
    • Experience with end to end sales process in early growth stage; ability to run entire sales cycles from lead gen to signature process.
    • Self-aware and willingness to course correct when needed.
    • Must have high intent and willing to push yourself and others to success and new growth
    • Willing to travel 25%+

  • Data Quality Assurance Internship

    Job Overview:

    As a Data Quality Assurance Intern, you will be trained and have a hands on opportunity to help deliver a seamless customer experience with a fast growing enterprise SaaS software company. Your responsibilities will include quality assurance testing including identifying product issues and improvements and ensuring client accounts are configured and working properly. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team to learn how to ensure our product delivers a seamless experience from start to finish.


    What you will learn to do:

    • Product Quality Assurance
      • UX Testing on Data Visualizations and Account Setup
      • QA Testing on Software Releases and Reported Bugs
      • Document and Develop QA Test Plans
      • Dashboard QA and Validation
    • Data Quality Assurance
      • Data Cleansing and validation using Excel, ETL Tools and in-house developed programs
      • QA Validation and Reporting
    • 20-30 hours a week


    Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Computer Information Systems, Business Data Analytics, or equivalent field (or equivalent work experience)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
    • Personable attitude with a technical mind
    • Passion for learning, technology, and delivering positive customer experiences
    • Strong understanding of mobile software including use and basic troubleshooting of iOS and Android devices is a plus
    • Great to haves: Tableau Experience, SQL, Python, Javascript,


    Compensation
